IFMAC 2019 - The International Furniture Manufacturing Component Exhibition Delivering Quality Needs for Indonesia’s Rising Furniture Industry

Indonesia’s premium furniture industry event, IFMAC will once again deliver an inspiring platform to motivate furniture industry players with new technologies, solutions and innovations this year. From the 9-12 October 2019, IFMAC will inject ideas from market leaders and renowned brands to allow domestic companies to gain better production output and manufacturing performance by embracing new production machinery, equipment and products. This industry-wide consensus has led to more than 50% of booth space already filled and the remaining reserved by returning companies. With this, IFMAC continues to prove itself as the preferred trade platform for industry players to strengthen their foothold in Indonesia’s burgeoning furniture industry. 

 

The Indonesian furniture industry is backed by an extensive segment of players and different sizes of companies. From raw material producers, to semi-finished product manufacturers, to finished product manufacturers, and to retailers and exporters from small to mid-size companies to big corporations, these furniture players have varying needs to improve their performance. As such, IFMAC brings a large array of products for different business needs, with a deeper focus on introducing production machinery and auxiliary needs for non-wood furniture. 

 

Largely, the exhibition will present the complete array of products from adhesives, abrasive, paint, coatings and application equipment, CNC & processing machinery, computer technologies & production software, furniture fittings, locks, furniture production machinery & tools, machines, materials and components for interior works and upholstery & bedding, furnishing textile & upholstery, timber trading, raw materials and components for furniture production, wood, wood-based panels, surface treatments and other related needs for furniture manufacturing.

wide product range. IFMAC welcomes the participation of more international companies and bigger local players to contribute towards its the development as the Indonesian furniture industry is opening up further to keep up with global competition. 

The exhibition continues to pave the implementation of technology that can boost the industry’s performance and output generation by presenting the best options and a wide product range on its show floor. Yearly Success mirroring Industry’s Growth ​

IFMAC will provide a conducive business platform for exhibiting companies to find the right partners that welcome their expertise. In 2018, 99% of exhibiting companies saw the exhibition’s importance for the industry, driving 97% to indicate that they may return for the next exhibition while 91% conveyed that they may recommend this exhibition to others. The exhibition’s successful performance was reflected in the high rate of exhibitors’ satisfaction where over 90% of exhibitors had feedback that they had arranged for sales follow-up with prospective buyers, met visitors who had intention to buy and had received direct interest on product displayed at exhibition. Overall, 96% of exhibitors had met with top management, business owners and decision makers on-site at IFMAC 2018. 

Achievements from IFMAC 2018 include 327 exhibiting companies from 23 countries comprising Australia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Gabon, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom and USA had participated. International exhibitor groups from Canada, China, Germany, Taiwan and France were formed and a successful special showcase on Computer Technologies was launched last year and will continue into 2019. Over 13,578 visitors from 37 countries came to IFMAC 2018 and 2019 is expected to see its visitor number increased by 20%. IFMAC 2019 welcomes international and domestic industry leaders to exhibit this year, to together push forward Indonesia’s furniture industry development.
